Be proud and loud at a cannabis event worldwide. Wear whatever you want! The "60s" and "70s" are more popular now than they were then! TV shows like "That 70s Show" are very popular. Cannabis is discussed everywhere. Cannabis is popular now even among "the suits." The days of boring cannabis events that put down people who don't wear suits to the event are over in most places in the world. The Petrochemical-Pharmaceutical hacks in suits are challenged by medical cannabis activists everywhere.
Alcohol users have their special days and places wear they can drink publicly with open containers outside in the streets. Marijuana marches once a year normalize cannabis smoking to a lot of people. It is amazing to see it spread across the world. Marches are so much more normalizing than they are offensive. And people see that a marijuana smoker is so much less impaired than an alcohol user. Marches are a net positive. Some people will be offended by marches. A lot more people are informed by them and come to be amused by and appreciative of us all.
With the advent of the web, newspapers have had a large drop in daily reading on average. So people get a LOT of their info from the web nowadays. The Marihemp gallery gets thousands of hits per month. We are our own media nowadays. The many MMM posters, banners, and flyers produced and posted worldwide each year reach and educate an incredible amount of people. Some of the posters produced are amazingly well-done and packed with information. The poster/flyer/banner galleries are some of the most popular albums here.
MMM pages are some of the most popular pages on some websites, and can generate thousands of hits per month.
A search for "marijuana march" or "marihuana march" (in quotes) on the web pulls up literally hundreds of thousands of pages: http://www.google.com/search?q=%22marijuana+march%22 http://www.google.com/search?q=%22marihuana+march%22 Once there, also click the Google images search link to pull up thousands of images.
The lies of the corporatist media can be defeated by going around them. A constant flanking guerrilla action. An info war using guerrilla tactics. Kind of like the American revolution against the British. They won against the British because they used non-conventional warfare. In the info war we have the non-conventional media of the web, posters, banners, creative events, one-on-one conversations, ballot initiatives, etc.. We take the issues directly to the people and the voters. Most importantly we just wear the prohibitionists out by never giving up. Many of them mellow out and come around to our point of view. See http://www.leap.cc - Law Enforcement Against Prohibition (LEAP).

This 2006 flyer gallery is dedicated to Steve Kubby, Proposition 215 coauthor, who was freed from jail April 5, 2006. He survived jail partly due to supporters helping to provide and pay for the expensive Marinol (the THC cannabinoid) that he used throughout his time in jail. After the first day or two of Marinol use in jail the life-threatening blood pressure spikes produced by his cancerous adrenal glands stopped, as did the resultant chest pain, fainting, severe kidney pain, and blood in his urine. The Marinol prevented further spikes in jail. Whole cannabis works better for Steve, but Marinol was what was allowed in jail for Steve. Please learn more at the Steve Kubby image gallery http://gallery.marihemp.com/auburn2006jan31 and at www.kubby.com
