Europe polls. Marijuana and more. 2006.

It is interesting to compare the 2006 poll result maps below concerning support for cannabis rights versus support for gay rights.

The darker the color, the more the support.

It is interesting that Spain has consistently had some of the largest Global Marijuana Marches in Europe, and also has some of the higher poll numbers for cannabis rights. They possibly feed on each other. So this is another reason for having public cannabis events. Be loud and proud at least once a year. It is the tradition of most nations and cities to allow public protest at least once a year per issue. Few people take serious offense even if they disagree with you. People agree to disagree. In the meantime people learn more about each other. And the fear disappears about "the other."
