We began our rally @ 1pm on Saturday [May 6, 2006], in front of the Aerospace and Engineering Building, on the Campus of the U [University] of A [Arizona]-- we have met there for the last 6 years -- some years we have permission to be on campus and some we do not and this was one of those so when officer friendly came around and asked us to take down the posters, banners, etc and turn off the music because we were not authorized (we pay taxes for the colleges but cannot use the land) we cleaned up the place. One of the patients began a dialogue with the man and when i heard him say, "i thought medical marijuana was already legal in arizona" i set him straight and he rescinded his order to tear down the stuff and turn off the music so we had a good time and walked up and down speedway to horn honks and people yelling and flipping the good signs
The promotions manager from The Cheba Hut brought 12 friends down from Tempe, Mesa and will be here next year as his area has expanded to the Tucson Cheba Hut, a true restaurant for the Cannabis Connisoeur.
CBS affiliate Channel 13 created our news story for 6 and 10pm and i spoke on Channel 1330 am, The Law and Disorder Show, had five call ins, all very up to date on the state of the state -- i finally found some one to talk to!! ha ha
